Arctic owned one of the most gorgeous natural habitat on earth. Outstanding scenery would mesmerize our eyes – the beauty of white icy terrene – cold yet graceful. One of the pure marvelous example of mother nature that still exist until these days (let’s just hope). The Polar regions perhaps would become the hardest regions for people to live. Considered the extreme cold temperatures across its landscape.

Seemingly as impossible place to live, nature has created their own creatures who become the masters of the place – both under the sea and in the land – home of diversity of variety of the wild animals species on earth – the great polar bear, penguin, arctic fox, seal, and many other species that are born and evolved – designed to survive under the extreme situation of its wildlife. Henson, and other two guides was walked a head on foot when accidentally overshot their destination, make him reach the North Pole forty-five minutes faster than his boss, Robert.

4. The Home of the World’s Biggest Seed Storage Facility

For a long time, Arctic become the base-camp of research program and facility for scientist. But, the shocking fact is that this place was the place of the biggest facility of seed storage in the world. This facility was run by Norwegian government, whit the measurement more than eight-hundreds miles beyond the Arctic circle. The facility is called Svalbard Global Vault – held more than four-thousands plant species, food crops included, keeping it safe forever after.

5. The Cartoonist who Designed Santa’s North Pole

This was a very informative fact about Santa Clause. Yes, who didn’t know about a wonderful old-man who like to given all the good boys present in Christmas night? One big fact is, the Santa Clause figure was designed for the first time by political cartoonist Thomas Nast for Harper’s Weekly in the 1860s. The council work to assess, and looking for the solutions about the environmental and other issues, such social issues among wildlife and people whose living there.

The average winter in there was approximate about minus 22°F, and the south Pole was even worse. The lowest recorded temperature of south Pole reach the number of minus 129°F. I, personally, would never imagine what would happen to me if I take a tour to this place, especially because I’m a tropical people.

Although polar regions was extremely cold, its still have normal seasons like other places which are the summer and winter. In Polar regions, the sun on the summer season would shine 24 hours a day, but, the sun never reach the horizon line which is never warm everything enough. So, it will still cold even in summer. Furthermore, during the winter, it would be dark all the way winter – for months, you would miss the touch of the sun in your face.
