Some types of mammals are found in the Palearctic region such as endemic mammals and African mammals. The endemic mammals that can be found there such as mole rats and camels.

Some of the typical reptiles that can be found in the Palearctic region such as the lizard, snakes, and Spinosaurus. Some alligators come from the China endemic, such as sand boa and Trionyx.

Since the landscapes of the Palearctic region comes in vary from the mountains to the sea and rivers area, that makes some reptiles family can adapt quickly.

  • Amphibian

Amphibian is one of the animals found in the Palearctic region. Some amphibians can be found there, such as a newt, Proteus, the European salamander, and Anurans.

Some types of newt come in different families, such as crested newt, Spanish newt, Alpine newt, and some common newt. Meanwhile, some of the Proteus come in colorless that choose to live around the European caves.

Some of the European salamanders come from the Japanese and China endemic. Most of them can grow up to 5 feet and more in length. Those species are commonly known as giant salamanders in the Palearctic region which are classified as some of the most dangerous animals in China.

  • Fishes

Fishes are one of the animals found in the Palearctic region. The scientist reported that there is no specific family of fish found there nor in the endemic region of them. Most of them come in vary from all around the world, which brings the different fish there.

Fishes in the Palearctic region can live adaptably in the river around there. Most of them come there during the migration seasons making there are so many types of them.

During the migration season, some fish can come from different countries, such as Japan or Russia. Most of them come across the sea to the rivers, which commonly they choose the area that looks similar to their origin habit.

Some typical fish that you can find in the Palearctic region such as salmon, carps, eels, perches, sand sleeper, and many more. Most of them live in different rivers and even seawater which makes the fish richer over there.
